Summary

The Tier Report provides detailed information about a member’s current tier and tier history. You can filter the data using options like date range, tier, and user ID.

The Current Tier section displays the live program. In the Tier History section, you can choose from live or archived programs and view member information for each one. Tier history shows all the activities that caused a tier change for the member. This helps the administrator to understand the performance of each tier while providing visibility to specific member performance.

The report also shows how much a member needs to spend to reach the next tier or stay in their current tier during the retention period. This can encourage members to make more purchases and stay engaged with the loyalty program.

Refer to Multi Template for further information about configuring the Tier Report with multiple templates.

Reports Settings

Navigation: Reports > Tier

After clicking "GO" on the Tier tile, you will be directed to the Tier Report page, as shown in the image below.

NOTE: When you visit the Tier Report, by default, it shows the Current Tier report for the past six months. For example, if you visit the Tier Report on 4th April 2025, the report will cover the period from 4th October 2024 to 4th April 2025.

On the Current Tier page, you can see the live program name in the top left. For example, in the image below, the live program name is “Test Program 2025”.

There are two types of programs:

  1. Active: A program which is currently live.
  2. Inactive: Programs which are in draft, scheduled, or archived status.

At any given time, only one program can be active. You have the option to create multiple programs simultaneously; however, you can select only one program to activate. This feature offers the flexibility to switch between various programs, making them active or inactive as needed.

Current Tier Report

This report provides information on the current tier status of members in the loyalty program. It includes details such as, date, name, user ID, current and next tier, and expiration information. Once you click “Current Tier, the following page is displayed.

Filter Current Tier Report

Here, you have the option to filter the Current Tier Report by providing information such as a date range, tier, or member’s user ID.

  • Select Tier: Choose a tier from the drop-down list to display data for members belonging to that specific tier.
  • User ID: Enter the user ID of the member for you want to display the data.

Once you have provided the information based on which you want to filter Current Tier Report, click “Filter” to display the filtered report.

The Current Tier Report page has the following fields:

  • Date: Displays the date on which the current tier was assigned to the member.
  • Name: Displays the member’s name.
  • User ID: Displays the ID of the member who has been assigned to the current tier.
  • Current Tier: Displays the member's current tier name. For example, Bronze, Silver, Gold. The name of the tier is defined by the administrator during configuration of the loyalty program.
  • Next Tier: Displays the name of the next tier which will be awarded to the member once the required milestones are achieved.
  • Tier Downgrade Date: Displays the date when the tier will be downgraded if retention conditions are not met.
  • Is Manually Assigned: Displays whether the member has been manually assigned to the current tier.

Once you click the drop-down button shown in the image below, the following fields are displayed:

  • Tier Activity:
    • Currently In Retention Period: Displays whether the member is in a retention period. If the member is in retention, it shows "Yes"; otherwise, it shows "No". The retention period is a duration during which a member's tier cannot be downgraded. This period starts on the same day the tier is assigned to the member. A tier can be upgraded during the retention period, but it cannot be downgraded.
    • Last Tier Change Date: Displays the date when the member’s tier was last changed.
  • Spending & Tier Progress:
    • Purchase Amount: Displays the amount spent by the member while they have been in the current tier.
      • Purchase Amount = Total amount spent + amount from manual spending - total amount from returns, discounts, and cancellations.
    • Purchase Amount Threshold: Displays the spend threshold for the next tier. For example, consider a program with four tiers: Red, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with spend thresholds of 0, 300, 600, and 1200, respectively. If a member is currently in the Silver tier, then the threshold for the next tier (Gold) will be 600.
    • Purchase Amount Remaining for Next Tier: Displays the amount the member must spend to reach the next tier. For example, if the next tier requires a spend of 600 and the member has already spent 300, then they need to spend only 300 more to reach the next tier.
    • How Much Spend to Retain Tier: Displays the amount the member must spend during the retention period to remain in the current tier. This field is shown only if the current tier is within the retention period.

In addition to the above information, any selected extended attributes and its values from the current tier such as Country or City will be displayed here.

Tier History Report

This report shows the tier history of members in the loyalty program. You can view their tier details for both active and archived programs. Members' records are added to the tier history only after they leave a tier.

NOTE: In the Tier History Report, if you choose a live program, you can see both the past and current tiers of members. For example, if a member was previously in the Gold tier and has now been downgraded to the Silver tier, the Tier History Report will display both tiers - Gold (past tier) and Silver (current tier).
