Summary

  • Points report gives detailed information about all the points earned and used by the specific user in a specific time period.
  • By using this report you can analyze which user interacted more with the loyalty widget in a specific time period.
  • It also helps to track the activities of the users.
  • In this report, if the points of any user have expired then the entry for that user cannot be displayed until he earns the new points.

Report Option

Navigation: Report>Points

  • By clicking on the points report button you will be directed to points report page as shown in below image.
  • The report data can be found and filtered based on a number of options, enabling the user to look for a particular record and associated information.
  • You have the following options to find the points of a particular user.
    1. Date Range: Using the start and end date range, records are filtered for a particular period. If any of the points date like start date or end date falls under the date range provided then reports of all those user points will be shown.
    2. ID: Provide the User Id for a particular user you want to find the records.
    3. Name: Provide the name of the particular user you want to find the records.
    4. Content Text: Allows users to retrieve the report based on the specific criteria such as Member Email, Reason, or Admin email.
    5. Action: Select the action from the drop-down list to view the records. The drop-down displays both the action ID and action name.
    6. Select Optin Status: Select the Optin status Yes/No to find the records.
    7. Email: Enter the email Id for a particular user you want to find the records.
    8. 0 Points user: Select the 0 points user option to find the user who has 0 points.
    9. Export: The data can be exported in the Make an excel request. By using the Make an excel request option the admin can get the report data through the mail.
  • Click on the Make an excel request option, you get the popup window display, then enter admin mail id.
  • The link is delivered to the entered mail id and click on the link and download the report data in excel format.

The following are the fields in the exported points report:

  1. Name: The name of the member who performed the loyalty actions.
  2. UID: The unique identifier for the member.
  3. Email: The email address associated with the member's account.
  4. Actions Performed: The actions taken by the member that impacted their points (e.g., purchases, redemptions).
  5. Earned Points: The total number of points earned by the member through eligible activities.
  6. Redeemed Points: The total number of points redeemed by the member for rewards.
  7. Redemption Credit: The points credited back to the member if they redeemed points for an order that was later returned, associated with action ID 154.
  8. Returned Points: The total number of points returned by the member within the specified date range.
  9. Debit Points: The number of points deducted from the member's account, typically associated with a correction or adjustment.
  10. Expired Points: The total number of points that have expired and are no longer available for use.
  11. Opt-In Status: Indicates whether the member has opted into (Yes) or opted out of (No) the loyalty program.
  12. Lifetime Points: The total points accumulated by the member over the entire duration of their participation in the loyalty program.
  13. Current Balance: The remaining points in the member's account as of the current date.
  14. Last Activity Date: The most recent date the member took any action within the loyalty program.
  15. Last Purchase Date: The most recent date the member made a purchase or engaged in a loyalty-related transaction.

Bulk Upload and Bulk Upload Report:

  1. Bulk Upload: Click on the Bulk upload button, following window displays, and then click on select action. Select the appropriate action from the drop-down list.

2. Bulk Upload Report: This shows the status of the Bulk Upload file. The report is updated in the table as
shown in the following display. The Bulk Upload Report has the following field:

  • Date: This shows the date on the Bulk Upload file uploaded.
  • Email: This shows the mail of the admin.
  • Filename: This shows the file name of the CSV file.
  • Process Status: Shows the status of the file upload as “process complete”.

Adjust Points

By manually adjusting user points, the users account will be credited or debited by the manual points specified below. If the User ID does not exist in the system a new loyalty user account will be created and points will be awarded.

  • The Adjust Points has the following field:
  1. User ID: Provide the User Id of user. If the entered user ID does not exist or matches a current member, then a pop-up error message displays as No Match Found.
  2. Manual Points: Enter awarded points.
  3. Select Reason: Select the reason of point adjustment.
  4. Other Reason: Provide the reason of point adjustment.

Configuration

The field descriptions are mentioned in the following table:

Field Description
Name This field displays the names of Loyalty members who have performed any action during the selected date range.
User ID This field displays the unique user ID of the Loyalty Members.
Email This field shows the email address of the members who performed the loyalty actions and earned or used the Loyalty points.
Action Performed This field/column lists out all the loyalty actions performed by the specific member. This field shows the that loyalty actions are performed by the specific member in the period between the start date and the end date.
Lifetime Points This field/column shows the details of all the points earned by the member.
Earned Points This field/column shows the points earned by the member during the specific time period between start date and end date.
Redeemed Points This field displays the points redeemed by the member.
Redemption Credit If a user redeemed points against any order but later returned the same, then the points that user had used for the redemption should be credited back to the same user against action ID 154 (redemption credit).
Returned Points Return points in a loyalty program typically refer to points that a customer earns when they make a purchase and then return or cancel the item.
Debit Points Number of points deducted from member’s account.
Expired Points The total sum of expired points associated with Action ID 106 (Points Expiration) and Action ID 192 (Member Inactive) is within the specified date range.
Current Balance This field/column shows the total available points for the specific member. These points are calculated by Lifetime Points – total used points.
Opt-in Status Opt-in status in a loyalty program refers to whether a customer has chosen to participate in the program or not. When Opt-in status = Yes (Member); Opt-in status = No (Non member or opt-out user).
Give Points This field is used to give/take the points of a specific member. In each row there is a button for giving points. By using this, an admin can give points to that specific member or reduce the points of that specific member.
Last Activity Date Displays the date on which the last activity was performed by the member.
Last Purchase Date It displays the date on which the last order was placed.
