Summary

The Hold Points Report provides comprehensive details about various types of hold points specific to a particular member. It includes information such as the member’s ID, the types of hold points encountered, and a breakdown of actions performed in response to these hold points. By using this report, you can analyze the following details:

  1. The member’s ID exhibits an exceptional number of hold points, either reaching the maximum or minimum threshold.
  2. The actions performed by the member, in the respective order ID, are detailed.
  3. Additionally, information includes the release date of the points currently on hold and the subsequent release of these hold points.
  4. This comprehensive data allows for a thorough understanding of the member’s engagement and the status of points within the system.

Reports Settings

Navigation: Report > Hold Points Report

  • By clicking on the hold points report button, you are directed to the hold points report page as shown in the image below.


  • The report data can be found and filtered based on a number of options, enabling the member to look for a particular record and the associated information.
  • In the report section, you have the following options to find the hold point report:
    1. Date Range: Using the start and end date range, records are filtered for a particular period. If any order date, like start date or end date, falls under the date range provided, then reports of all those order IDs will be shown.
    2. ID: Enter the member ID associated with an order ID.
    3. Order ID: Enter the applicable order ID to find the report.
    4. Select Action: Choose an option from the dropdown list, which displays both the action ID and action name.

To export the report

  • Navigate to export ➡ Export > Make An Excel Request.


  • The data can be exported using Make an Excel Request. By using the request option, the admin can receive the report data exported to the email address provided.
    1. Click on the Make an Excel Request option.
    2. A popup window will be displayed, then enter the email address to which you want to send the report data.
    3. Once you receive the report data in the email address provided, click on the link and download the report data in Excel format.



The following are the fields in the exported hold points report:

  1. Date: The date when a member completed the loyalty action.
  2. Release Date: The date when all held points will be released.
  3. ID: The member's unique ID.
  4. Actions Performed: The name of the action performed by the member, like Purchase.
  5. Order ID: The order ID associated with the performed action.
  6. Points On Hold: The number of points held for a specific action.

Report Overview

The configuration details of the hold points report are as follows:

  1. Action: It shows the selected line items of the action performed by the member.
  2. Date: The date on which a member has completed the loyalty action.
  3. Release Date: It displays the date on which all the hold points will be released.
  4. ID: It shows the member ID.
  5. Actions Performed: It indicates the name of action performed by the member, like purchase.
  6. Order ID: It shows the order ID of the action performed.
  7. Points On Hold: It displays the hold points against a particular action.

Hold Points Types:

The administrator has the ability to manually release hold points for all the three hold types by using the “Release Point” button. The three hold types are:

  • Order Placed Date
  • Order Item Ship Date
  • All Item From Order Ship Date

Release Point:

To release points manually at the product level, follow these steps:

  1. For the release point, select the line item with the release date, then click the “Release Point” button to release the points for the selected item.
  2. Enter the reason for releasing the points in the confirmation and then click ‘Yes’.
  3. Regardless of the reason entered during the release of points, it is displayed in both the “Interaction Report” and theMember Activity API” in the Reason field.
  4. Points will be credited into the member’s account.
