Summary
Bulk points upload provides the ability for an admin to award points for a particular action to a group of users. Capabilities for bulk point upload include:
- ability to award points only to opted-in loyalty users.
- ability to opt-in users into the loyalty program and award points according to uploaded data.
- ability to award points defined for a particular action or award custom points against any action.
- ability to capture a reason against any points adjustment entries.
- The above capabilities are also available for sites with multi-point-buckets.
Navigation-Reports > P” button in the points tab, you will be redirected to the following page.
- You can search the Points Report details by providing the following parameters:
- Date Range: Using the start and end date range, reports are filtered for a particular period.
- More: Under it you will have the options to select between Action, Opt in Status, 0 Point User and email.
- ID: Provide the ID for which you want to see the details.
- Name : Provide the name for which you want to see the details.

Content Text : We can refine the search more by entering the content text.
- Enter the date range from and to in the provided section with the help of the calendar function.
- You can also specify the ID and Name of the point report which you want to search for.
- Go to the more section and provide the specific information required, which helps in narrowing down or filtering the section further in the drop down menu.
- Action: The action performed or the action for which the report is being generated is specified.
- Optin-Status : We can include the criteria of Opt in to segregate the report to only include such customers.
- Email: The email ID of the customer can be directly used in order to search .
- 0 Points User: A user with zero points in his account can also be segregated by this option.
If we select the Action from More dropdown, then a new field opens up and you can select various actions from Standard Action, Custom Action, and Action Series as shown in the below image.

If we select the Opt-In Status from the More dropdown, then a new field opens up and we can search for the customers based on their Opt-In criteria.

Click on the Adjust Points button.
- Adjust Points: By manually adjusting user points, the user account will be credited or debited by the manual points specified below. If the User ID does not exist in the system, a new loyalty user account will be created and points will be awarded.
- The following parameters are to be filled in Adjust points:
- User ID: Provide the User Id of the customer.
- Manual Points: The User account will be credited or debited by the manual points.
- Tier Points: These are the points based on which the tier will be awarded to the user.
- Wallet: The Wallet is an entity where the points of users are stored.

- A bulk upload button appears. A popup to select the type of action to be performed appears.
- Select the appropriate action, as in this case, a purchase action has been illustrated in the image below.
On selecting the Action Purchase, some new sections will open up as shown in the image below.
- File: Select the file containing the details such as UID, First Name, Last Name, Points of the customers, etc.
- Opt-In Non Members : These are the customers who have opted in to be part of an action but are not members of the loyalty program.
- Email Address: Provide the email address of the person uploading the report.
We can toggle the selection of Opt-In Non Members on and Off based on our requirements.
After all the fields are provided, we can upload the file by using the Upload button at the bottom of the right-hand corner.

- There is an option to export the Loyalty Program Points Report, and for that you have to use the export button in the top right hand corner, as illustrated in the image below.
- On clicking the export button, a drop down menu will appear with the option of Make an excel request as the report can only be downloaded in excel format.
- By clicking on the "Make an Excel Request” button, a pop-up will be displayed and to get all the customer details, you have to provide the email id of the user. For example, in the image below, the email entered is mkumar@annexcloud.com.
- The email address entered on the pop-up will receive an email with an excel report.
- Click on the Download Excel button to get the file locally on the system.
- In the excel report, you may view a list of customers with various fields, such as activities performed, lifetime points, earned points, and so on, as shown in the following two images.
- Name: It shows the Name of the customer present in the report.
- User ID: It shows the user ID of the customer present in the report.
- Email: It shows the Email of the customer present in the report.
- Actions Performed : It shows the actions performed by the customer.
- Lifetime Points : The lifetime points earned by the customer are shown in this column.
- Earned Points : The earned points in a specific date range is shown in this column.
- Redeemed Points : The points redeemed by the customer is shown in this column.
- Returned Points : The points returned from the customer side are shown in the column.
- Debit Points : The points debited are shown in this section.
- Expired Points: The points that have expired are shown in this column.
- Current Balance : The current balance of points remaining with the customer is shown in the column.
- Opt-in status: The opt-in status of the customer is shown in this column.
- Last Activity Date: The last date on which the customer was active is shown here.

Last Purchase Date: The date of the last purchase is provided here.
