Understanding Buy More Earn More Campaigns
A Buy More Earn More (BMEM) campaign allows you to offer fixed bonus points when members reach specific purchase thresholds. This encourages customers to increase their cart size or spend more in a single transaction to unlock better rewards.
Unlike point multipliers, BMEM campaigns add flat bonus points instead of scaling based on spend. These campaigns are highly effective for increasing average order value (AOV) and driving short-term revenue spikes.
Example: Spend $500 and earn 100 bonus points.
Use Case Objective: Boost High-Value Transactions with Time-Limited Rewards
Encourage customers to spend more by offering bonus points on qualifying spend with a 14-day point expiration. This creates urgency not only to qualify but also to redeem the earned points quickly.
Why it works: Customers are incentivized to spend more and return sooner to use their expiring rewards.
KPI Impacted: AOV, purchase frequency, revenue per transaction
Example Campaign:
“Spend $500 and Get 100 Bonus Points – Only This Week! Points Expire in 14 Days.”
