Bolt Plug-In Feature Document

Objective

The purpose of this document is to describe the features supported by the Bolt platform using Annex Cloud’s Customer Loyalty module. Bolt is an authenticator plug-in which can be integrated with listed e-commerce platforms or custom e-commerce sites. Bolt helps to quickly sign-up/sign-in members and assists customers with the checkout process by remembering their password and demographic information along with their payment information.

Annex Cloud performs the integration with Bolt to help authorize customer sign-ins and identify customer loyalty status. Post authorization from Bolt, loyalty members will be able to perform loyalty activities on the e-commerce site.

Below is the list of features supported by ‘Bolt’ when using the Annex Cloud Loyalty Experience Platform.

Implicit Loyalty Account Creation	Implicitly enrolls the member into the loyalty program when a member creates an account on a loyalty-enabled website.	The member created an account. Redeem Points on the Checkout Page (as dollars)	On the checkout page, the member can redeem their available points as dollars off their purchase and receive a discount.	The member has an account. The member has available points in their account.	This option is configurable. You can enable or disable this feature in during implementation. Once the member is authenticated by Bolt and identified as loyalty member, the member can redeem points.	NA
Earn Loyalty Points for Purchase Action	The member earns loyalty points for purchasing a product.	The member has an account. The member performed the Purchase Product Activity.	This option is not configurable. The member always receives loyalty points for completing a purchase action.	NA
Display Eligible Points on Cart Page at Checkout	The member sees their eligible points during the checkout process.	The member is enrolled in a loyalty program. The member is on the checkout page.	This is always displayed and not configurable. The member is authenticated by Bolt and identified as loyalty member.	NA
Redeem Eligible Rewards	The member sees their eligible rewards at the checkout page.	The member has eligible rewards. The member is on the checkout page. The member redeems the reward and completes the order with discounted value.	The rewards are configured in the Annex Cloud platform.	NA
