This document covers all product updates included with the November 2023 Release issued on November 6, 2023.

Actions

Update Summary Value
Improved User Experience: Actions and Action Groups The Actions and Action Group dashboards under Products have been updated to include more specific tool tips, error messages and warnings to make configuring an action or action group more straight forward and user-friendly. Administrators will have an improved user experience when configuring actions and action groups in a loyalty program.

Action Series

Update Summary Value
Action Series Reporting and Front-End Display Name

When a member completes an action series, they will see the specific name of the series they have completed in the Activity tab on the member dashboard. 

Additionally, the specific name of the completed action series will be shown in the All Interaction report under the Reason column.

Loyalty members and program administrators will have a more holistic view of what action series have been completed.

APIs

API Update Summary Value
User API GET User API Update The GET method for the User API has been updated to include the ‘last purchase date’ and the ‘last activity date'. Administrators will have a more holistic view of members' purchase behavior and loyalty engagement when retrieving member information using the GET method in the User API.
Activity API Display Text and Return Values in Activity Detail Information in the 'displayText' parameter in the GET: /users/{id}/activity API will remain even when a reason is provided in the 'reason' parameter. This update will ensure you have a holistic view of members' order activity in the Activity API.

Data Sync Data Feed Outbound- Accrual Redemption Report The Data Sync feature will now be able to sync data from the Accrual Redemption Report. You will be able to sync more data from Annex Cloud to your other integrated systems.

Receipts

Update Summary Value
Next Generation Receipt Scanning The Receipt Scanning feature now offers OCR technology to automate the process of receipt scanning, collecting purchase data from receipts, and awarding members points for their in-store purchases. You will save time when validating member receipts for loyalty points and be able to award loyalty points to members faster for in-store purchases.


Reports

Dashboard > Summary Export Report Summary Export Report: Display Opt-Out Deduction The Summary Export Report will include negative points to display points that have been deducted due to a member opting out of the loyalty program. The Summary Export Report will now include a more holistic view of the data by also including points that have been deducted due to a member opting out of the program.

Rewards

Update Summary Value
Rewards Filter to Persist After Search If an administrator is searching for rewards using the filter functionality, the filter will remain ON unless the administrator clicks the Reset button, clicks the X option in the search area, refreshes the page, or switches from Rewards to a different tab. Administrators will have an improved user experience when searching for specific rewards using the filtering capabilities.

Surveys

Enhancements to Survey Functionality

There are several functionality updates that have been made to our Surveys feature to make it more user-friendly for administrators and loyalty members. 

These changes include:

  • Administrators can now assign specific time zones and date formats for their program and templates (if you are leveraging multiple templates). This will enable the timing of surveys to better fit the needs of your target audience.
  • When uploading an image for a survey, administrators can caption the image and have the option of uploading the image directly from the library, or via an image URL. Once the image is uploaded, you have the option to crop, circle, or rotate the image to fit your needs.
  • Survey Section Types have been updated to include the options of Single Submission or Multiple Submission.
    • Single Submission: If this is selected, members will respond to questions one by one. For instance, if there are five configured questions, the survey accepts answers for one question at a time. After each question, the member will proceed to the next in sequence.
    • Multiple Submission: If this is selected, members have the ability to answer all questions on a single page. For instance, if there are five configured questions, the member can answer all of them on a single page, akin to completing a form.
  • When adding questions to a survey, administrators can now select 'Other' as an option, allowing members to write their own custom response to the question.
  • Administrators can reorganize the answers for questions in their survey using drag and drop.
  • All changes to a survey will be tracked via an audit log that is available in the Action column of the Survey dashboard.
The Survey feature has an improved user experience and more custom capabilities.

Tiers

Improved User Experience: Tiers The Tier dashboard under Products has been updated to include more specific tool tips, error messages, and warnings to make configuring a tier more straight forward and user-friendly. Administrators will have an improved user experience when configuring tiers in a loyalty program.

Integrations

Platform Update Summary Integration Type
Bolt Plugin Annex Cloud has completed the integration with Bolt plug-in which can be used on available supported platforms.

The integration offers a seamless checkout functionality using the Bolt plug-in with SFCC which is supported by the Bolt platform. Bolt supports limited E-commerce platforms where the plug-in can be used.

The integration allows users to perform easy checkouts on any E-commerce platform where the Bolt plug-in is used with one-time authentication. Users should complete the registration where the Bolt plugin is used, so that the information can be used anywhere the plug-in is used.

Customer representatives can click on a button and see members' loyalty information in the loyalty dashboard pop-up window.

The loyalty dashboard will display the members': 

  • Membership details
  • Rewards info
  • Activity details

Additionally, customer representatives will have the ability to credit and debit points from the member’s account.
