LOYALTY

Gamification:

We have expanded our Segmentation and Campaign functionality by a lot. We now have the ability to track at an individual SKU level, for example, how many were purchased within a certain amount of time and, based on that, display that progress to the end-user. These capabilities can be used on websites and apps.

Order Status Report V3 + Bulk Upload:

We have expanded our Order Status Report to display comprehensive information which logs everything we get from the Order API calls. This helps clients and or internal teams with tracking and/or debugging most of it instead of asking the development team to look into it. We have displayed information at a granular level, including the progression of that order as it is put on hold, partial points release, cancel, return, etc.

We now have bulk uploads for orders very specific to purchase behavior. Everything that can be passed in the order API is part of that upload file. Sometimes clients want us to upload order data that might be missed or for any other reason - we had to create a ticket for the developer who then wrote a script and processed it which was time-consuming. Now clients and our internal teams can do it themselves from the OSR Bulk Upload. This is also very useful for the sales team who are trying to populate data for their demos in the prospect sandbox that is created for them. They can now use this and add the data they want.

Others:

  • Tiers in Campaigns V2: We can now add Tiers as qualification criteria in Loyalty V2. We already have that by default in V3 but it was not there in V2. So, now clients on V2 can also run tier-based campaigns.
  • Categories in Receipt Moderation V2: We can now add, store and filter by categories in receipt moderation report V2. This helps the clients with filtering based on categories. In V3 we plan on expanding this and other attributes like Brands and building a whole new report around Receipt Brand Reporting which would give V3 clients a detailed look at competitors, analyze consumer purchase behavior and run marketing campaigns accordingly.
  • API V3 Updates: Other than the functionality mentioned above, we have added a lot of additional details in our APIs based on new data or new logic which is then reflected in our Loyalty V3 APIs. This information is reflected in our Loyalty API documentation as mentioned in the Platform section below.

Instagram Updates:

Facebook / Instagram recently announced a lot of changes to their APIs which we use - some deprecation, some updates, and some new functionality. All of this was going to take effect on 30th September 2020 and we had to make a lot of changes to Trackable Buttons and Visual Commerce to accommodate this. The implications were huge for connect functionality, hashtag functionality, etc. and we had to make sure it was done in a way where there is no break-in functionality. Both RAF and VC teams worked on this and were successful in achieving this in a timely manner.

REVIEWS & RATINGS

Social Comments APIs and SDKs:

Earlier this year, we introduced a new module called Social Comments which provides the ability to write comments which can also be moderated if required. We now have a comprehensive list of APIs which can be used by clients to display information on their sites. The iOS and Android SDKs are almost completed and, once fully done, can be used by clients in their apps.

VISUAL COMMERCE

Progressive Web Applications:

Progressive Web Apps are websites that look and feel like an app. This means users can access all the information and capabilities without downloading a mobile app. Progressive Web Apps allow web services to offer native experiences on the desktop and mobile and use modern web technology to deliver app-like experiences to users right in their browsers.

Some of the overall benefits and module-specific benefits are given below. For very specific module-level details - how PWA behaves at each of our module levels, those details will be added to our website soon.

Notifications:

Notifications in PWA are supported by Annex Cloud and can trigger the notifications to the end user’s application based on the user parameter. The notifications can be directly triggered by the end-users upon predefined actions. There is also a provision where the customers can use Annex Cloud APIs to trigger notifications to the end-users. Customers can use an API to trigger notifications after desired events. An option can be provided where Annex Cloud would push updates to the customer using their APIs or Webhooks.

Online APIs:

We have moved all our current APIs for all our existing modules online. As we add more functionality and new products, we will keep on adding them online. Currently, we are working on adding more information on all these pages, including an introduction page with a menu page. The intent is to make sure clients and prospects understand how we manage it. For example, generally speaking, what is GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, etc, and how Annex Cloud manages that. We are also working on a new tool to host all this information and the APIs. In the meantime, we are working on adding a new landing page on our website with links to all these APIs which will be released by the end of this week.

API Landing Pages To Be Added Soon: The following API landing pages are being worked on and will be added soon.

  • Incentive Engine
  • Social Comments
  • Hierarchy Management
  • RAF Influencer Management
