Summary
- The product Catalog maintains the product information such as product name, product ID, points awarded, point type, etc. in a structured and organized manner. This enables the loyalty member to understand product benefits and information.
- A new product catalog is created for individual products.
- It allows a marketer to add an individual purchase and ratio setting for the unique SKUs.
- Products can be grouped into various categories.
- A product or product category can be designated as excluded, preventing members from earning points on certain items.
- A maximum and minimum level can be established for various products and categories in order for them to be eligible to gain points.
Product Catalog Management supports the following product types:
- Ratio-based products.
- Flat points-based products.
- Combination of Ratio and Flat points-based products.
- Excluded products.

Capabilities
Product Catalog enables the marketer to create and manage product rules. The administrator can also import product details by using the Export drop-down menu. All available product details are viewable in a table. The following is an annotated screenshot of Product Catalog capabilities and functions.

- Add New Catalog: Administrators are able to add a new product rule by clicking on this button. Additional details on how to configure product rules are described below.

Search: Search through the configured product rule in the platform. Advanced search capability can be accessed by clicking the dropdown icon in the search box.
- Product Name: Enter the name of the product.
- Product ID: Enter the Product ID.
- Category ID: Enter the Category ID.
- Points Award Type: Select Based on Product or Based on Category.
- Unit Price: Enter the unit price of the product. Select an option in Greater than or Range and provide the appropriate values.
- Created Within: The products can be searched based on the creation date. You can select start and end dates or specify the number of days.
Click Search to find the categories with entered values.
Export: This allows the marketer to export configured product details as an Excel file.

Remark: This column provides three functionalities:
- Edit: The administrator can modify an existing product rule.

Audit: Shows the product rule log.
- The log information is displayed as listed below:
- Date: Displays the date when the product was added or edited by the administrator.
- User Details: Displays the name and email address of the administrator who added or edited the product.
- Event Details: Displays the description of what was added or edited for the product.
- Old: Displays the description of what previously existed in the product configuration before the change was made.
- New: Displays the description of what has been newly updated for the product.
- Source: This field shows the logged-in user’s IP address.
- Delete: Deletes the row information.

Product Catalog Configuration
Navigation: Products > Add New Catalog > Add Single Catalog

General Information
Points Award Type: You have two choices:
- Based on Product - The new product will use points awarding rules defined for the specific product.
- Based on Category - The new product will use points awarding rules defined for the product category.
Points Award Type: Based on Product
Click on Points Award Type and select Based on Product from the drop-down menu. Enter attributes to create a new Product Rule.

- Product ID* (Mandatory only if the Based On Product is selected): Enter the Store Keeping Unit (SKU) for the product.
- Product Name: Enter the name of the product.
- Unit Price: Enter the unit price of the product.
- Category ID: Enter the Category ID for the product.
- Category Name: Enter the Category Name for the product.
Point Award Type: Based on Category
Click on Points Award Type and select the Based on Category option from the drop-down menu. Apart from the above attributes, enter the category attributes to create a new product rule.

- Product ID: Enter the Store Keeping Unit (SKU) for the product.
- Product Name: Enter the name of the product.
- Unit Price: Enter the unit price of the product.
- Category ID* (Mandatory only if the Based On Category is selected): Enter the Category ID for the product.
- Category Name: Enter the Category Name for the product.
Points Settings
Product-based Points Award Type
If you have selected the Points Award Type as Based on Product then the following attributes are shown for configuration.

Product Points Type: There are four conditions;
- Only Product Ratio
- Only Product Flat Ratio
- Product Ratio and Product Flat Points

No Points.
- If the Product Points Type is selected as ‘Only Product Ratio', then the administrator sets a Product Ratio value. Points are awarded based on a ratio determined.
- If the Product Points Type is selected as 'Only Product Flat Ratio', the administrator sets a Product Flat Points value. Points are awarded based on a flat rate determined.
- If the Product Points Type is selected as Product Ratio and Product Flat Points', then the site administrator will need to set the Product Ratio and Product Flat Points both values.
- If the Product Points Type is selected as 'No Points', then no points are awarded.
NOTE: If the Product Points Type is selected as 'No Points' then the product is considered globally excluded from awarding any points.
- Product Eligibility: This field shows whether the product is eligible to receive points or not. if it shows Include the product is eligible to receive the points and if it shows Exclude the product is ineligible to receive any points.
- Product Minimum Quantity: Enter the minimum quantity required for the product to earn the defined points.
Category-based Points Award Type
If you select the Points Award Type as Based on Category then the following attributes are shown for configuration.

Category Points Type: There are four conditions;
- Only Category Ratio
- Only Category Flat Ratio
- Category Ratio and Category Flat Ratio

No Points
- If the Category Points Type is selected as 'Only Category Ratio', then the site administrator sets the Category Product Ratio value.
- If the Category Points Type is selected as ‘Only Category Flat Points’, then the site administrator sets the Category Flat Points value.
- If the Category Points Type is selected as Category Ratio and Category Flat Points, then the site administrator sets the Category Product Ratio and Category Flat Points both the values.
- If the Category Points Type is selected as 'No Points', then no points are awarded.
- Category Eligibility: This field shows whether the Category is eligible to receive points or not. If It shows Include the category is eligible to receive the points and if it shows Exclude the category is ineligible to receive any points.
- Product Minimum Quantity: Enter the minimum quantity required for the product to earn the defined points.
Additional Information
Product Attributes
To record any more information about the Product, we offer the following preset Product Attributes.

- Universal Product Code (UPC) - a unique 12-digit number assigned to each product sold in stores and online. The Customer can use it per the requirement.
- Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) - a number that uniquely identifies a specific product among all products from the same manufacturer. The Customer can use it per the requirement.
- If you have multiple products to be uploaded or you need to bulk upload the products click on Import Product in Add New Catalog.
- Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) - a barcode identifier for trade items. The Customer can use it per the requirement.
- Brand ID - an identifier a company applies to a product based on branding. The Customer can use it per the requirement.
Import into PCM
Navigation: Products > Add New Catalog > Add Single Catalog
Click on Add New Catalog and select Import Product from the drop-down list as shown in the following image.

To upload the list of products click Select File. The maximum size of the file to upload is 5 MB. If you click the Help Link, you are redirected to the PCM documentation.

Select Download the sample CSV for the sample file and add the products in the file.

Note: The following table lists all supported special characters. Only these characters are allowed in the CSV file. Any other special characters will not be accepted.

- Points Award Type: Value 1 indicates that we are defining the product based on the Product, whereas Value 2 indicates that the product is being defined based on Category.
- Product ID: A unique identifier assigned to a product to facilitate differentiation.
- Product Name: The name given to a product.
- Unit Price: The price of one unit of a product as determined by the administrator.
- Product Points type:
- = Exclude this product to receive any points.
- = Only the Product Ratio must be applied.
- = Only the Product Flat Points must be applied.
- = Both the Product Ratio and the Product Flat Points must be applied.
- Product Ratio: The value of the points ratio given for a product.
- Product Flat Points: The value of flat points given for a product.
- Category ID: A unique ID for the product category. A category Id which the product belongs to.
- Category Name: This signifies the name given to a category.
- Category Points Type:
- = Exclude this product to receive any points.
- = Only the Category ratio must be applied.
- = Only the Category Flat Points must be applied.
- = Both the Category Ratio and the Category Flat Points must be applied.
- Category Ratio: Denotes the value of the specified points ratio for a category.
- Category Flat Points: The value of flat points specified for a category.

NOTE: For the Multi-Point Bucket sites, the sample download file contains the buckets, so that the ratio, flat points, or both (ratio and flat points) details can be added against each bucket as applicable.
Update the product details in the downloaded Excel template as shown in the following image.

The red color cells shown in the above image are not reflected in the AC Site, the reasons are mentioned below:
The data reflected in the AC Site is based on the Points Award Type selected.
- If the Points Award Type is entered as 1 (Product based):
- Data entered in Category Points Type, Category Ratio, and Category Flat Points are not reflected in the AC Site.
- Product Ratio and Product Flat Points are reflected in the AC Site according to the Product Points Type selected (0,1,2, and 3).
- If the Points Award Type is entered as 2 (Category based):
- Data entered in Product Points Type, Product Ratio, and Product Flat Points are not reflected in the AC Site.
- Category Ratio and Category Flat Points are reflected in the AC Site according to the Category Points Type selected (0,1,2, and 3).
An example of the uploaded file is shown in the following image.

Click on Select File and upload the updated file. When you select the products file to upload into the PCM, the following window appears with the Notify me toggle button.

Notify me: This toggle button is ON by default, which means the notification regarding the uploaded product files will be sent to your email address when they are processed.
You can add multiple email addresses separated with a comma for the uploaded product report.
Click OK to upload the updated file. The following image shows if the file is successfully uploaded.

An email will be sent to confirm that the uploaded file is successfully updated in the Loyalty Program product report.

Click DOWNLOAD EXCEL for the uploaded products report. You can see three tabs in the report as shown in the following image:

New Products: Displays the new products uploaded into the PCM.
Modified Products: Displays the modified products that are updated in the PCM by this upload.
Failed Products: Displays the products that are not uploaded into the PCM.
Actions Exist in the Product Catalog
- Click Edit in the Remark field to view the existing product rule fields and edit them according to the member loyalty program.
- Click Audit in the Remark field to access the product rules log, which includes Event details, User Details, and other information.
- To erase the product details, click Delete in the Remark field.
Category Master Configuration

Search: This function provides the ability to search through the categories in the platform. Advanced search capability can be accessed by clicking on the dropdown icon in the search box.
- Category Name: Enter the name of the Category.
- Category ID: Enter the Category ID.
Click Search to find the categories with entered values.
Whenever a new product is added to PCM the Category ID is checked for existence. If the Category ID already exists, the number of products linked to the category is shown in the particular category. If the Category ID does not exist a new Category ID is generated, and the products are linked to this Category ID.
- Category ID: The unique ID allocated to the product category.
- Category Name: The name given to a product category.

Linked Products: The number of products associated with the product category. The displayed number is a link to the list of the products.
When the link is clicked the list of the products linked to a category displays as shown in the below image.

- Actions: The actions tab is used to edit and see the audit log and the category details.
Edit

The below window appears by clicking on the Edit button under the Actions tab.

The Category ID, Category Name, and the Linked Products fields cannot be altered since they are determined by the Annex Cloud preset criteria, but the Maximum Points Limit and Limit Type can be changed to meet your needs, and the category master must be updated.

Maximum Points Limit: Modify the maximum number of points that can be earned by the products under this category.
Limit Type: Modify the Limit type Calendar or Rolling.
- Rolling: Rolling denotes the number of days defined after which the maximum points limit is reset.
- Calendar: Calendar denotes the selection in Day, week, month, or year after which the maximum points limit resets.
Limit Details:
- Calendar = Day, Week, Month, Year.
- Rolling = Number of days.
NOTE: The Limit Details field appears only when the Rolling or Calendar value is selected from the drop-down.
Audit

The below window appears by clicking on the Audit button under the Actions tab.

- Event Details: Displays the description of what was added or edited for the category.
