Summary

• Category master maintains the product information such as Category Id, Category Name, No. Of Product Linked etc. based on product category.
• Product catalog enables the creation of new Product Category for a particular product.

Navigation: QA_temp_1 > Products > Product Catalog Management > Category Master

Capabilities

• Search: Through this, a particular product category can be searched by providing a category id or name.
• Export: This allows the user to export category master details as an Excel or CSV file. Once you click on it, an excel or csv file will be downloaded as shown in the image below:
  
• Action: It enables the user to modify the existing category masters data.

Configurations

Under the category master, you have the following parameters:

1. Category Id: Enter the category ID for the product.
2. Category Name: Enter the category name of the product.
3. No of product linked: It displays the number of products linked to a particular category.
4. Max points: It defines the maximum number of points which can be earned from a particular category.
5. Limit type: Limit type can be set using one of the following options:
   Rolling: provide the number of days when the points or coupon will expire.
   Calendar: choose from a list of calendar time frames including week, month, and year.
6. Limit details: It defines the number of days after which a user can earn up to the maximum points again.
7. Actions: Through this, a user can edit the existing category master.

• After providing all the category details, you need to click on the “Update category Master“ button to save all the data.
