Understanding Product-Based Point Multiplier Campaigns
A Point Multiplier Campaign for Specific Products allows you to reward extra points when members purchase designated SKUs. This is useful for boosting sales of slow-moving items, promoting seasonal products, or pushing bundles and volume-based buying.
This campaign lets you apply multipliers only when a specific product (or products) are bought, and optionally requires the customer to purchase a minimum quantity to qualify.
Example: Buy 2 or more of Product X and earn 3x points on those units during the campaign period.
Use Case Objective: Increase Quantity Purchase of Specific Products
Drive volume for a key product by offering a point multiplier only when two or more units are purchased.
Why it works: Motivates upsell and stock-up behavior on eligible SKUs without discounting price.
KPI Impacted: Units per transaction, revenue from targeted products
Example Campaign:
“Buy 2 or More of Product X & Earn 3X Points – Limited Time Only!”
How to Configure the Product-Based Point Multiplier Campaign (Min Quantity: 2)
Access the campaigns dashboard
- Sign in to the Annex Cloud platform.
- Select the Products tab.
- Under Campaigns, select Go.

4. Start a New Campaign
Click Add New Campaign to initiate the campaign configuration process.

5. General Information: Set up your base campaign details:
- Campaign Name: “3X Points on Product X”
- Campaign Duration: Choose your start and end dates
- Access/UI Settings: Make it visible on the storefront or in member portal as needed
Click Next to proceed.

6. Audience & Milestones:
6.1. Audience Targeting:
Info: Segments must be configured prior to campaign setup in order to be used for audience targeting.

- Add the segment you would like to target with the campaign.

Define your target audience based on specific criteria or behaviors.
For example: - Target members who purchase 2 or more units of Product X to earn 3X points.

6.2. Milestone Configuration:
- Milestone Name: “Buy 2 or more Product X Earn 3X Points”
- Type: Set to Action
- Action Type: Choose Purchase
- Benefit for Specific Products: Set to Yes
6.3. Milestone Bonus Settings:
- Point Multiplier: Set to 3 (for 3X)
- Points Expiration: Set expiration if urgency is needed (e.g., 30 days)
- Limits (Optional): Limit frequency or total bonus points per user if needed
Click Create Milestone, then click Next.


Once your campaign milestone has been configured and added on the Audience & Milestones tab, select Next.
7. Campaign Benefit: No additional reward is needed since the bonus points are already applied via milestone. Leave this section blank or use for stacking further incentives (e.g., bonus coupon after purchase).

8. Finalize the Campaign: Click Create Campaign to save. The campaign will now be scheduled and shown in your Campaigns dashboard.
