Summary

  • The Media Library is a collection of images, audio, and Flash files that can be utilized to improve the look and feel of a website.
  • The Annex Cloud media library is a mechanism for uploading and storing photos, audio, and flash files in PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, PSD, and SWF formats.
  • The media library is single storage for the collection of all iframe images.
  • The central repository stores images needed for hosting or iframe for various modules, like Loyalty, Refer a Friend, Reviews & Ratings, and so on. The Media Library is used to upload images.
  • The site admin/client has access to the media library, which allows them to access and preserve existing images and videos from the Annex Cloud site.
  • A connection is created once the photographs are posted to the media library. This link is supplied to the developer so that the image can be shown on the website.

Configuration

  1. The Media library accepts media type files in the format as listed below :
    • Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
    • Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)
    • Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
    • Bitmap Image (BMP)
    • Photoshop Document (PSD)
    • Shockwave Flash (SWF)
  2. Add new tab: Client /Site admin can upload images from a device, Facebook, Instagram, Google drive or can take photos as shown in the image below.
  3. If an image is uploaded, the client/site admin will receive a link. That particular link is called in the backend where the image needs to be displayed. Images with high resolution need to be called in the backend rather than uploading.
  4. Once the image is uploaded, the details of the image are displayed in the following format.

The details of the image configuration are listed below:

Field Description
Thumbnail Display the picture of the uploaded image.
Filename Display the name of the image.
File Type Display the format of the file type. Example - png, jpeg, etc.
Uploaded On Display the date on which a file is uploaded.
File Size The size of the file is expressed in units of measurement based on byte.
Dimensions Display the dimensions of the file which is uploaded.
URL Site admin/Client can copy the URL of the uploaded image.
