Points Summary Data issues and their solutions

Past Issues Current Solutions
Points Summary shows the result of all user data that was deleted but the interaction report does not show any deleted users data. Updated all the SQL queries for the Summary Export Report (Points, Reward, Member) so that it syncs with the interaction report. Now the data of the deleted users is not displayed.

If the debit or credit points against any action ID is zero, then, the count for such action ID always shows zero in the Points Summary.

Example, If an Action ID, let’s consider purchase (Action ID 109) has 50 records in the interaction report, but the points (debit or credit) against the action is zero then in the Points Summary, the count for the action purchase (109) shows zero in place of 50.

Updated the SQL query logic for the Points Summary, where debit or credit actions are counted even if the points against such action is zero.

In the Points Summary, we get the redeemed points & count using action ID 107. However, on the dashboard we are using 107 and 154. So it should be sync at the both the side.

NOTE: On the dashboard card, there is an issue in the SQL query for the redeemed points, as it’s not taking action ID 154 in the calculation.

Updated the logic by adding action ID 154 with action ID 107 in the summary report for the total points redeemed calculation that it is synced with the dashboard card.
In the summary report, the total points awarded calculation includes all the credit points except action ID 100 (Manual Credit) (as per the request from CSM, while the dashboard shows all the credit points, including action ID 100 (Manual Credit). In the summary report, added action ID 100 (Manual Credit) in the total points awarded calculation so that it would be synced with the dashboard card logic.

Rewards Summary

The Rewards Summary section of the report provides an overview of the rewards issued and redeemed during the specified period. It typically includes information such as the total rewards claimed and total rewards used with every individual reward ID count for the selected date range as shown in the below image.

In the Rewards Summary, you have the below fields:

Parameters Description
Reward Names Displays the total reward names configured in the loyalty program, like 10, 20, 30, and 50, as shown in the above reward summary export.
Total Rewards Claimed Displays total count of the rewards claimed (but not used) within a specific date range.
