Summary

  • Action Series functionality comprises a group of actions as part of the loyalty program. Two or more actions can be defined as part of an Action Series. Once the loyalty member completes all the actions within a series of milestones, they can earn additional benefits, including extra loyalty points.
  • We use the Action Series as a Badge. We create an Action Series with milestones. We can add single or multiple milestones to the Action Series. When all the milestones are completed, we mark that Action Series as completed. We can set the Benefits (Bonus Points) for the Action Series completion. We can create campaigns as well using these Action Series and award extra bonuses to the loyalty member.

Report Settings

 Navigation: Loyalty > Reports > Action Series

When you click Go, the Action Series Report window appears.

You can either click on the specific action series details tab or select from the list and search for the report.

Report Fields

The Action Series report includes the following fields:

  • Action Series Name: Displays the action series name that the member has completed or is in progress.
  • Action Series ID: Displays the action series ID, which is automatically generated when creating the action series.
  • Action Series Type: Displays the action series type from the action series configuration. Options include:
    • Based on Points
    • Based on Count
    • Based on Points & Counts.
  • Duration: Displays the duration of the milestone criteria in the action series.
    • Rolling: A rolling period is a continuously updating time frame that replaces the oldest data point with the most recent one as time progresses. This method offers a dynamic view of data.
    • Calendar: A calendar period is a fixed time frame based on standard calendar intervals, such as weeks, months, or years. This approach provides a static view of data.
  • Reward Name: When configuring the action series, the selected reward name will be displayed. All active rewards are listed in a drop-down within the series.
  • Action Series Bonus Points: Displays the additional points that members can earn upon completing specific actions, as outlined in the action series configuration.
  • No. of Member Completed: Displays how many members completed the action series.
  • Series Completion: Displays how many members have fully completed the action series.
  • Total Points Awarded: Displays the total number of bonus points earned by the members for series.
  • Status: The status field has two statuses: Active and Inactive.
    • Active: Member can earn series bonus points after achieving the required milestone.
    • Inactive: Member cannot earn series bonus points even after achieving the required milestone.

Details

  • Select Details to see the milestones details and member details.

Milestones details

The available information includes details on Milestones when you click on Milestones details.

  • Action Name: Displays the action name that the member has completed or is in progress.
  • Action ID: Displays the action ID, which denotes the action name in the milestone details.
  • Required Credits: Displays the number of actions required for a member to complete the milestone within a specific time frame.
  • Where: Displays the conditions defined while creating the action series.
  • Spend: Displays the amount required to achieve the milestone in the action series.

Action Series Member details

When you click on "Member Details," you'll find the following information available.

  • Member ID: Displays the unique ID of the member.
  • Action Series Name: Displays the action series name that the member has completed or is in progress.
  • Action Series ID: Displays the action series ID, which is automatically generated when creating the action series.
  • Action Series Type: Displays the action series type from the action series configuration. Options include:
    • Based on Points
    • Based on Count
    • Based on Points & Counts.
  • Required Credits: Displays the number of required action counts that must be performed by the member to complete the milestone.
  • Completed Credits: Displays the number of completed actions counted in the milestone performed by the member.
  • Pending Credits: Displays the number of outstanding actions in the milestone that have not yet been completed by the member.
  • Status: Displays whether or not the member has completed the action series.
  • Reward Code: Displays the reward code upon completion of the action series.
  • Points Awarded: Displays the bonus points earned by the member upon completing the action series.
  • Member Completion Date: Displays the date on which the member completed action series.
  • Completion Deadline: Displays the deadline by which the member must complete the series of actions.

Export

Navigation: Export > Make An Excel Request.

The data can be exported in the Make An Excel request. By using the request option, the admin can get the report data by email.

  • Click on the Make an Excel Request option.


  • In the popup window, enter the email addresses you want to receive the export file.


  • In a few minutes, the specified email addresses receive an email with a link to download the export file. Click the link and download the report data in Excel format.

The Action Series report export file includes two columns that do not appear in the report on the web site.

  • Total Member Participation: Displays how many members participated in the action series.
  • Series Partial Completion: Displays how many members have partially completed the action series.

Members can access the downloaded data for 24 hours after receiving the client's email message. 
If the data has a lot of rows, the export splits the data into multiple files. The files are automatically zipped.

 

The following are the fields in the exported action series report:

  1. Action Series Name: The name of the action series associated with the loyalty program.
  2. Action Series ID: The unique identifier for the action series.
  3. Action Series Type: The type of action series (e.g., promotional, reward-based, etc.).
  4. Duration: The time period over which the action series takes place.
  5. Reward Name: The name of the reward associated with completing the action series.
  6. Action Series Bonus Points: The number of bonus points awarded for completing the action series.
  7. Total Member Participation: The total number of members who participated in the action series.
  8. Number of Members Completed: The number of members who successfully completed the action series.
  9. Series Completion: The percentage of the action series completed by participants.
  10. Series Partial Completion: The percentage of the action series partially completed by participants.
  11. Total Points Awarded: The total number of points awarded to members for completing or participating in the action series.
  12. Status: The current status of the action series (e.g., active, completed, expired).
